San Francisco, CA: August 1, 2025 – MarkScout has been recognised for the fifth year in a row for its website and email security, privacy and consumer protection practices, as measured against the criteria of the Online Trust Audit and Honor Roll. The programme, which began under the Online Trust Alliance and now continues under the Internet Society, recognises sites that score at least 80% overall without failing any single category.
Sustained results matter more than a single good year, because the baseline moves. Email authentication, encrypted connections and responsible handling of personal data were exceptional only a few years ago; today they are expected.
MarkScout continues to apply the same practices to its own sites that it recommends to clients, from enforced email authentication to modern TLS configuration.
“We ask clients to hold themselves to a high standard of online trust, so we hold ourselves to the same one,” says Daniel Hartley, Chief Revenue Officer at MarkScout.
