San Francisco, CA: July 24, 2026 – MarkScout has again earned recognition in the Online Trust Audit and Honor Roll for its email authentication and web security practices. Email authentication, in particular, has moved from best practice to requirement: Google and Yahoo began requiring authentication from bulk senders in February 2024, and Microsoft followed in 2025.
The same direction applies to web security. Public TLS certificates are being issued for shorter periods, with the maximum validity at 200 days since 15 March 2026, falling to 100 days in 2027 and 47 days in 2029.
MarkScout enforces SPF, DKIM and DMARC across its own domains, automates certificate renewal and monitors for look-alike domains that try to impersonate its mail.
“Trust is built from many small, unglamorous controls working together. We are pleased to see them recognised,” says Marcus Whitfield, cybersecurity and digital risk intelligence expert at MarkScout.
